Isn't it nice when things just work?

So, is the American economy in the brink of collapse?

Or is it working fine, but just in unexpected ways?

    It doesn't seem like it's working fine to me. My understanding of economics is still very limited, but we only need to feel the tension in the market to know there's a problem.
